The CBP Home app functions as a centralized platform, facilitating access to various U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) services. By navigating through a series of guided questions, users can efficiently locate the specific features they require.

Currently, the app offers two main functionalities, with additional features expected to be introduced over the coming year.

• Inspection Appointment Request: This feature enables brokers, carriers, and forwarders to use their mobile devices to request inspections for perishable cargo entering the United States. Users are also provided with real-time status updates regarding their appointment requests and have the option to engage in live chat with a CBP Agriculture Specialist for further assistance.
• I-94 Application: Travelers can apply for and pay for their I-94 up to seven days before their arrival in the U.S. at a Port of Entry (POE). The app also grants access to a digital copy of their I-94 and includes up to five years of travel history. This feature serves as a mobile iteration of the traditional I-94 application process available on the official I-94 website.

Future updates are set to enhance functionalities for small vessel operators, bus operators, aircraft operators, seaplane pilots, commercial truck drivers, and commercial vessel operators.

While the CBP Home I-94 feature is available nationwide, appointment scheduling for perishable cargo is restricted to select Ports of Entry. Users are encouraged to contact their respective POE for additional information.
